Unhappy My JP-8000 wont start up!

I recently tried to update OS on my JP..(from 1.02 to 1.05)
with no luck..
I loaded and transferred all the 8 smf-files (_00001.mid thru _00008.mid)and it says "Completed"
But when i power it off after the update and then turn it on, the synth physically turns on, but the screen shows only:
--------------------------------
|[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]|
| |
--------------------------------
No LEDS light, and it just hangs showing this screen..

Im desperate
Has anyone experienced this problem? Or even better; does anyone have the WORKING update-files (tested by you and working) ?

Thanks for any help

Roll back to your factory defaults.

Try again. Making sure to use rolands resources. Which are

Update 1.05

and

How to properly Update

and YES, i have orig. roland files.
and OFCOURSE i have read the txt

well that certainly sucks.. try getting an older version of the OS and install that.. but either your JP has something wrong with it or you're doing something wrong when you install the OS

That must suck... I don't know how to help, since I don't even own any hardware synths, but I hope you get it fixed. Best of luck to you.
