-Quivver-

Just thought I'd throw out a shout for this man. IMO, one of the most under-exposed(not underrated) producers around...his productions reek of detail and mood, not to mention none of his productions has a real 'common' sound, making each production it's own Quivver standout...

Tarantella - Saturn(Quivver remix)
Quivver - BozBoz
Quivver - Space Manoeuvres Pt3.
Quivver & Sutton - ColdRush
Ryukyu Underground - Seragaki(Quivver remix)

Any other notable tracks?

Agreed with breakaholic there, She Does is his best production IMO too.

BT feat. Jan Johnston - Mercury & Solace (Quivver's Transatlantic Mix)
>> not as good as BT's Dub but a great proggy view on the track anyway

Tilt - Invisible
Space Manouvres - Stage One

etc etc.

definately not under exposed at all, i think thats a bit of a silly statement to be honest.

I disagree. In a time where trendy music and fads are a bit too common, Graham continues to hold his own and remain almost 'stealthy' as an awesome producer, standing the test of time of musical fads and tredns coming in and out...look at Armin ad his radio show, for example. Just a year ago, it was the coolest thing for us trance addicts to tune in and listen to the now-desposed ASOT style trance.
These days, you hardely HEAR of Quivver, and yet everytime his productions come out, whether they get publicity or not, they seem to be standout tracks in today's endless sea of shit.
BozBoz never got real recognition, yet it's quality should place it in a tune of the year caliber. His remixes are also overlooked as well, continously being overshadowed by the likes of other prog masters i.e Holden, Schulz etc...
And yes, I'l admit, he is an integral part of Tilt and Space Manouevres, but he wasn't alone on those projects. I'm talking about now, where he does solo remixes and productions that are constantly being passed by without receiving the recognition they deserve.
Also forgot Angry Skies(Quivver remix)...that bassline!

i agree on some fo the points, but the last thing i heard from him was tilt - i know you're afraid and i wasn't really impressed (maybe because the world doesn't know was significantly better?!)

correct me if i'm wrong but i'm pretty sure space manouvres was solely john with no-one else involved in the project.

but back to the original point about him being under exposed, i don't think so still, i bet there's very few who have not heard of john graham, one of his classic tunes and one of his recent tunes. just my opinion. definately agree on the quality thing though, he's awesomely consistant!

Space Manoeuvres are John Graham & Lea Kenny.

I think both of you have made valid points. I would maybe agree that Graham has gotten lost in the shuffle over time, but anyone who actually likes trance and studies not only the "newest tunes selected" but also great tracks from the past will surely run across space manoeuves, tilt, etc. and will find out who the genieus behind those aliases are. I think John gets a good amount of respect and is noticed.

Just my .02.

-Keith
