Chakra - I Am (Above & Beyond and Steve Murano Mix)
Havn't heard the originals but both are quality remixes.
Personally I prefer the Above and Beyond mix because Mr.Murano needs some new material. I've allways thought the chick behind Chakra has had a killer voice.
Steve Murano Mix 6/10
At least this is better than some of his other repeat remixes.
Above and Beyond Mix 7/10
Nothing groundbreaking but still fun to listen to.

Don't really care for either one of these mixes.. A&B took the too standard route and Steve Murano, no tnx.
You should check out the original mixes & remixes from '97, Bedrock remix is damn amazing.
I prefer the other recent release (on 3 Beat Breaks) much more. It has:
Wrecked Angle Remix 9.5/10
- very much like Bedrock remix except a breaks version
Kasey Taylor's Oceanbreaks Mix 8/10
- endlessly flowing smooth breaks version

If the Wrecked Angle mix is anything like the mix they did of Syntax - bliss then I have a feeling I'll love it.
Also, any word on whether their mix of Bliss is out yet or am I restricted to live set coverage?

All the Wrecked Angle remixes i've heard have been amazing IMO, so if you like the Bliss remix i think you'll like this one too. As far as i know Syntax - Bliss remixes are not released yet, only a few CDRs and whitelabels are floating around..
Wrecked Angle remix of The Age Of Love is still my fav remix from them, it uses the best elements from the 1992 classic Jam & Spoon's Watch Out For Stella remix and turned it into a deep breaks journey.

There was no thread about it in the six months.
If you don't have an opinion on the track then don't post, no one cares how long you've had the tune, here you get a gold star.

A&B mix is ok but way too ordinary. The Space Brothers mix from 1997 is still the best mix imo, a real classic, awesome ch00n.

It's so funny you posted this, trance-n-dance. It just so happens I stumbled across this tune myself. The latest remix package, released on 3 Beat Breaks last year, is simply breathtaking! I especially favoured Kasey Taylor's "Oceanbreaks" remix. This gem is pure breaks class! I love the chilled approached Taylor takes with this track--truly does wonders and adds a fabulous new flavour to the Space Brothers' already established, '97 classic. A must have tune.
As far as the Wrecked Angle remix is concerned, their approach on "The Age of Love" is much better, as previously stated. To me, this tune just stood out as average.. while Taylor's "Oceanbreaks" remix took me completely by storm. Who knows, maybe the Wrecked Angle remix will grow on me soon?
