Which cartridge would you recommend?
Im debating which cartridge to get, the Stanton Groovemaster II - RM or Stanton Trackmaster II - RS. I must make a note that they will not be matched pairs. I would greatly appreciate the advice or your own experience with any of these 2 cartridges. Thanks!

Simply put, after buying Trackmasters years back I will never buy a Stanton product again.

i have a set of Trackmaster II SKs, and a set of Groovemaster II RM tips that fit on them. The Groovematers sound better and I think hold a groove a bit better but they both jump alot. I replaced them with Shure M44Gs and havent looked back. The Stanton's are also really expensive for what you get. my advice would be to stay away from them.

Well if you have that kind of cash lying around, I can recommend Shure Whitelabels, since I own them. The Ortofons have good sound quality as well, but they eat vinyl a lot quicker, so overall Whitelabels in my opinion dominate the DJ cart list. Also more and more clubs are using them and that is earning their reputation as excellent carts.

i agree with what you say, but i think the way you put it makes the ortofons sound a bit anti-vinyl its just that the whitelabels are so kind to your records..
the ortofon concorde carts are also really kind to your records compared with a lot of other carts, and they have mega sound quality.
whitelabels all the way for me though

Go with the whitelabels. They are super secksy and sound nice too (duh!). I found them for $95 at 123dj.com and then went to Guitar Center and got them pricematched, so a pretty good deal with reliable service can be had if you look around.
