Mobile phone help
I have a Motorola V400 mobile phone, the USB cable, and Phone Tools software (off the Net)(updated version) and I want to transfer my photos on it to my PC running Windows XP. I installed that software and it tells me there teh connection has been broken and the screen in the mini phone says "Initializing...". How do I go about it? The OS only recognises a USB Modem driver and it isn't detecting the phone as a separate drive like what's shown in the help manual. Can anyone go through a step-by-step procedure on how to do this? Thanks very much. I just want to get them photos ooff that phone and onto my HDD. I'm getting rid of it afterwards. BTW, do I need a SIM card in it in order to transfer photos? Because I have no SIM card in it and the phone's damaged (I can't see the screen); it turns on but, I don't know what it's saying after it's turned on. Thanks very much.
