While reading the montreal boards, I came across this.

due to circumstances in the u.s. ferry corsten will not be playing tonite and will be rescheduled to a different date

Like what the fuck is this?? That happened two weeks ago, the promoters are just getting around to telling them the NIGHT of.

I'm calling on this post to go as far as it can. If anyone out there knows Ferry has cancelled, they should say it. It's bullshit that were being screwed like this. Fuck crooked promoters.

I'm getting a bad vibe about tomorrow night now, even if he does show I think the city of Montreal should get a formal apology by their promoters. Why is Ferry so sketchy? lol

I've changed my mind. I won't be goin to the Guvernment this saturday, Ferry's not gonna make it, it's not even that big a party, I can't find tickets for it ANYWHERE, ticketmaster isn't selling for this event... looks like the guv knows it ain't gonna happen.

dude, boy trance or whatever. They were never ever selling tickets advanced to the show. They were always 10$ at the door (before 12).

No shit?! That explains alot! I was freakin out trying to buy tix yesterday! But then why is it so cheap? Does The Guvernement even cost that little on a normal saturday?

I heard he cancelled ALL North American dates because of the Sept. 11th attacks...

It would be nice if the guv's website would tell us whether or not he will be coming...oh...but wait...that would be an HONEST thing to do, so I doubt it'll happen.

I'm not going to go anymore, I'm not going to risk driving up from Buffalo and finding out he isn't going to be there.

i don't understand why is he trying to fuck Toronto over for the third time! When Johan Gielen was here yesterday he told me that he had no problems flying in to T.O. what so ever.
So why is it than if Johan Gielen can make it to Toronto and play his set, Ferry for some reason can't. Fuck I love Ferry but if this shit goes on like this I am not likely to go to the Guv tomorow!


Maybe that is why the tickets are so cheap! The promoters were not sure from the begining whether he is going to show up or not. Thus it's $10 & the there are no advanced tickets! This way if he does not show up people won't really bitch about it, since it's only $10.

Let's look at the history of Ferry in Toronto gigs:

1st time @ the Atlantis - he claimed he had food poisoning or something like that that's why he could not play
2nd time cancelled the gig, and decided to go do an MTV interview
3rd - will ferry fuck us over? AGAIN? AND AGAIN? AND AGAIN?

It does not matter if there is a guest dj or not
its always like that in the main room of guv on a sat night!
now what other club IN THE WORLD can you pay 10 to go and party in an amazing club with amazing sound (PHAZON) and lights on a weekly basis for $10? and pay 10 to see intl djs in a venue like guv?
that is why guv rules, and i dont even care anymore if Ferry "I like F'ing over Toronto" Corsten shows up or not, i know Mark will tear shit up like he always does!

Yeah it does matter if there's a guest dj or not, and depending on who the dj is! With someone like Ferry corsten, it should be considered a special event, should cost at least $20, and should have tix being sold for it! I got let down twice already with Ferry, I'm not about to be let down again... The Guvernment personally aint worth it unless there's a good guest dj playin.
