We're currently linving in an era of anarchy. Terrorism has, over the last 50 years, become the most dominant "political" phenomenen and established up a new world order: an order that is totally out of order.
How is it gonna end, and what is going to be the next stage afterwards?
discuss.

I dont think there ever will be an end to terrorism. Maybe in the future people wont go to the extremes that some do today, but there will always be people who disagree with the majority on certain matters. I think there are only two things that can really stop terrorism (and other 'isms') with any great effectiveness:
1) The whole world is run from a single governing body. That way, the fate of everybody is decided by one group of people. Those people would be responsible for the well-being of everyone on Earth, and there would be no opposition to them. There would be no opposing opinions to the greater whole, and so anyone who rejected the ideas of this government would not only have nobody to support them, but would also have the law enforcement agencies of the entire world up their asses to help 'put them straight'.
2) An massive global event that would affect how people view the world (and humans) as a whole. Something along the lines of "Proof God does/doesn't exist" or "intelligent life has been discovered on another world". Only after a revelation like that would everyone realise just how insignificant our petty differences are, and that would hopefully unite the world like nothing else has before.
I doubt either of those two possibilities are ever likely to become a reality, but I live in hope!!

The anarchy just started?
I think its more a case of technology finally catching up to our species. As killing power increases and as some countries get wealthier and some poorer new means of leveling the playing field erupt.
As for some 'decline' I dont know. I think that humans have been killing the shit out of each other forever last time I checked. Different methods just connote different time periods. More tech means its easier and cheaper! to kill random civilians.

I predict world superpowers will take over for a short while. After that, the meek will inherit the earth.
I plaguerized that from the Bible, however. I just wanted to be typical.

terrorism has always been a problem. I was reading a piece about how govts were writing laws about it in the late 19th century...
today with the big media exposition, we think its more present.

terrorism in its current form -> attack on civilian targets for political purposes is the direct result of Liberal democracy.
There is a reason you don't see terrorism in dictatorships.
Terrorism can easily be remedied by severe punishment.
No one is willing to use those levels of punishment in liberal democracies as it is counter to their foudning ideals.
Here in lies the dilema.

What?
And a Dictatorship isnt terrorism in a convoluted, flip flopped sense? Carpet bombing unstable countries will get rid of terrorism tho, thank g-d|

Terrorism differs from the other "isms" you've mentioned there in that it isn't so much an ideology as it is a method. The ideology in this case would be fundamentalistic Islamic facism, terrorism is merely the means used to propogate it.
Might sound like I'm just nit-picking but it is a pretty important distinction.
