Ooo, sexy bandwith. Fast download.

Now...

Like the kick/bass combo at first, and the perc sounds good so far....

Like the perc build/filter that leads up to ~:55. Nice. And it's even staying interesting throughout this DJ-friendly build. That's always good, and a challenge.

Okay, like the synths, and the pads, but that sine-wave thingy that starts to build may be a hair too washed out before it filters up. Maybe some more resonance while it's filtered low? Sounds cool when it filters up, though...

Uh, that FX @ 2:33 sounds bad and canned. Reconsider it. You're perc work was cool at the beginning, so maybe a bit of a fill instead...?

Ooo, relatively short breakdown (I like), and it builds nicely. I like the OOOMPH at the low end once everything drops back in, and I really like the structure and the flow. Sounds good.

Hmm. I like the melodies, but maybe the lead sound needs some work. I like the sound, but compared to the rest of the song, it sounds just a bit thin...or something. I can't really pinpoint why I don't like it...but if you were to layer something else over the lead, give a bit more width and presence, it would be cool...

Oh...is this your main breakdown at 5:20? I thought we had already reached the "hook"...

Oh, we have. For a second breakdown, it seems to go on a bit long, but that's a personal preference. But I like the energy once it comes back in...

Okay, I really like this. It sounds pretty good, too. As far as the overall sound of the song goes, it's a hair away from professional. Maybe a professional mixing job would give it the extra sparkle and shine that it wants, but it just sounds like everything's a BIT (because it really sounds good) overcompressed or something. If everything were seperated in the mix a bit more, it'd be fantastic.

Good stuff.

This is very nice!

The more I listen to this tune the more addicted I become, just cant get enough of this cool melody. It actually reminds me abit of some Russian folk melodies hehe. Very original.

Production wise this is quite good, although when all those leads kick in at ones it sounds kind of messy, but that may be just the low bitrate or something.

I would be interested in remixing it, let me know if that’s possible.

Cheers!

Thanks for your feedback guys! This is the first tune I've ever made in 2 days from scratch - usually takes me 3 weeks or more. So maybe a little EQ work would help bring the mix up to a decent standard.

Kreing, once I get the vocal version sorted and I'm happy with the complete sound, I'll give some parts to work with.

i liked it till the first mini break, with that cool beat and filterd saw synth.

then it got cheesy a bit and chaotic.

guess it's taste, though yes your synths need some mixing, which is a pain because they must be not to low, they must not loose energy, and they must be loud and not clashing with each other..

oh jolly what is producing fun .

This track IMO is very cool. However, I don't think it needs a vocal version. What you have now is the equivalent of a Jurgen Vries track, and we all know what happens to those tracks as soon as vocals are added to them. I like what you have right now, just work on the mixing and you've got a solid track.

Do you really think the melody is good enough though? If its not then I could just leave this and work on another track instead.

When I say a vocal version I mean just 1 or 2 lines to give the track a hook. I know exactly what you mean about Darren Tate's tunes (amongst others), the record companies always seem to spoil it by glueing on a cheap vocal.

Ah yes mate, this is the shit. I absolutely love it ! This is crazy clubbing trance at it's best.

The song starts off really well, with a driving beat, and the cool synth that almost sounds like a funk guitar lead(!). I love the build up, it really works. You've worked the offbeats in this song really well too, makes it very danceable.

The melody you've got is really cool. I love melodies that have just the right amount of "what the hell?" but not too much, it caught me almost immediately and because it is interesting, kept me going for the rest of the track. I'm still singing it in my head too.

Really really nice work dude!
