i was wanting to know the same about the new 3000's,
im gonna be buying a new set of phones soon and i was wanting to get some comparison input about these 3
MDR-700
HDJ-1000
DJ Pro- 3000/2000
ive heard the sonys break easy and the ones that they had on display at best buy were coincedently broken at the swivel
i hear that the pioneers are really good as far as sound quality but i think im gonna go for the stantons b/c of the overall look/stats/and features of them
just wanting some feedback from experience...
thx

The 2000s are ugly as hell though.

You own them though, right? Just curious on how you think their build quality is. They look like sonys but im hoping they arent built like them.

yea i kinda agree the 2000s are somewhat ugly, not horribly so, but not anything special either
personally i love the way the sonys look feel and sound but the fact theyre so prone to breaking is why i havent bought em...
i figure im gonna spend a good $100 bucks on headphones and id like em to be durable, the sony v600 is a great model but i find it to be somewhat bulky when its sitting on my shoulders so thats why im shooting for a model with the swivel mechanism and round cups, as soon as ive saved up im gonna buy a pair of ST-150s and the 3000s match well with em IMO
my main concern is are the 3000s as durable as the 2000s?
