im just curious as to what all of you think about this. answer yes or no or go into detail. so heres the question:

should america rebuild the the world trade center? if so should it be identicle or different ( bigger smaller?) , should it be a memorial? what do you guys think?

i dont think they should build a replica of the old one if thats what you mean, but i think they should build a new one. i'm pretty sure they are using part of a wall from the wtc for a memorial.

I just think that working in the world trade centre is such a dangerous job. Every now and then they are subject of an attack. I sure hope they don't build another one.

i dont no weather it was a joke or not but if what i saw was real then they already have rough ideas for a new one, this 3 towered all joined together, um shit really! looks awful! no doubt the distruction of the old one will give some young designer the chance to make an absolute mess costing millions 1000 feet tall! look at our mellinuim dome! ha! what a joke!

i never saw any plans but they owner of the WTc is rebuilding in the area but they are not going to be two large towers but a few smaller ones. so manybe what coup saw was what it was going to look like. I hope its not awful like u say coup.

i dont think they shud rebuild it in the same spot - shud be used for a memorial.
ppl will find it hard (stigma frm the attack will live for ever) to work in the same place in the same building.it oughta be moved deeper inside the city.

people are afraid now to work in highrise buildings with too many floors like the WTC. they said now they won't build buildings past like the 50th floor. so i don't think building a replica would be that good of an idea. but a memorial is a nice thought.

i dont know... maybe building a taller still building would b a good idea... showing the people that did this they can never keep us down... bt if peepz are too scared to work in um that aint plausable...

I dont think it should be rebuilt.I think the entire area should be made into a massive anti terrorism branch devoted to bringing vermin like the folks who done this to justice,with some sort of memorial statue of perhaps a memorial square,with a huge statue of a fire truck or something.

As for the plans to use the remains of the building as a memorial i think it is simply ludicrous.Think about it,when pam am flight 103 crashed here in scotland,we didnt take a big chunk of the fuselage and stick it in lockerbie as a memorial,that is exactly the same sort of thing!

I think a memorial would be a better idea than building another WTC, after all, it may bring spirit to some people who see another large WTC being built.

But would you work in it or want people you know working in it?

NY by night sky wont be the same without it though, its been 4 or 5 years since Ive been there and I think I'd rather remember how it used to look.
