I always worry about how it's gonna sound out there on other ppls gear so I would love feedback on this new recording. I have listened on a few different systems including worrisome PC speakers and it did fairly well. A few things I've noted...the kick sounds like it could come down a tad, although to be honest I'm starting to feel good with the level more i've listened to it. what are your thoughts? Would love some feedback from listeners using subwoofer systems. Second, I think a few of the percussion sounds could have been slightly louder in the mix. overall thoughts?
Thnx!

I love it, Nice intro. I like the bassline - its got a good pumping feel. reminds of me Chicanes Saltwater meets Agneli & Nelson
There percs have gtot a sort of 'live' feel to them, which I like.
I would say its more than just Chillout...
its a nice fluid dance stomper, If I played this Id have people weeping on the dancefloor with ecstacy...~!!
N1 my son!
ps- Wheres the lead synth sound from?
pps No its not bad at all, its seems that either noone here can be bothered to write a reply (which I cant understand it takes seconds to right a comment?) Also some ppl I feel look down their nose at tunes if its not qute EQed to perfection which is stupid because musical potential is far more important as eQing can be fixed by some Nerd engineer later
phew..
I just spend 5 mins leaping around my room dancing - it works for me!!
You've certainly got a lot of good ideas going on in this track, and overall it's very pleasant and unique. I would have preferred it with a greater emphasis on the 'chillout' rather than the 'trance', but not to worry. Call me picky or even insane, but I think the bpm could do with coming down a couple of notches. And in the nicest possible way, I think the percussion makes the track feel ever-so-slightly video-gamey. Good work, though!

Thanks Ichiro!
I appreciate the comments. Being that I'm a new member to this forum I was starting to wonder if there is anyone active in this forum!
The lead synth is from the Ensoniq asr10
You mentioned something about the EQ'ing. Any suggestions?
Yeh, I think you are right it's a bit more upbeat than chillout but thats the only classification i could think of for it. It doesn't have the hard synth leads of full out trance.
Thanks for the comments!

I agree! the song really is a happy feeling song. I felt like this song would go great with outdoor fun like surfing, skiing stuff like that. I feel it would be a great club song. I haven't listened to this on a big sound system with sub woofers so I'm hoping that it has the the tight low end. Thanks for the comments!
