Guitar Center is in the LA area, in hollywood on sunset to be exact. There is also Astro Audio/Video on San Fernando in Glendale. Our fellow TA DJ Tranz could hook you up with some equipment too, PM him and also check out their site, www.djmart.com.

For used stuff check out http://losangeles.craigslist.com That's where I bought my turntables, great deals.

Guitar Center in Hollywood is pretty good.
