[HOUSE] euler - clamour

This is a little attempt at prog. house. The tune is under construction and this is a sample. Just fished this up the next day after midterms...

Name: Clamour
Genre: Progressive House
Quality: 128 kbps
Format: MP3
Length: 4:18 (cut)

It has a bit of a tribal feel to it as well. The whole tune was done in FL Studio 4, utilizing the Slayer plugin for the power chord guitar hook.

What do you guys think?

Thanks for listening!

Quality tune guy, hypnotic sounds...
Your drums are good, except the hihat (coming a 1.25).
I love the pad and the bassline, housy and dark, I like it !

Edit : the toms are like in Satoshi Tommie "love in traffic"

Really nice tune.
The kick seems to be unhearable after a while though.
And the guitar reminds me of Flashdance

positive:

- lovely pad in the beginning

- great kick

- nice atmosphere

negative:

- it's too fast

- you need more tribal elements in the first two minutes

- the instrument that comes in at 2:25 is too loud and drowns the other elements.

I agree that it's too fast, bring it down to about 128 bpm

cool thanks. I totally agree with your comments!

That instrument at 2:25 is actually a tweaked Vanguard synth and the melody has a bassline, so I had to remove the bassline that was there to put in the Vanguagrd, but I didn't have time to make it all smooth and stuff...

Now that I listen to it more, I definatly want to make the guitar hook louder, make it slower, and add some chord progression to those pads after the break down...I'll play around with it and see where it goes.

Thanks for listening and comments!
