Thank you Tiesto
Oh My God ... i still can't believe i had one of the most beatiful nights of my life , my ears are still hurting , i feel so weak right now but deep inside me i'm happy , very happy !!
It all started at 12:15 am , i came and there was no line-up outside . Got my ticket from the girl in the door and then i directley entered the club . If there wasn't a line-up outside , there was a line-up inside for the cloakroom (it took me 15 minutes to give my coat to them) . Anyways that's not a problem . Right after this , i went directly to the bar where DJ Maus was spinning some excellent prog. house , i'm pretty sure u guys saw me there , i was in front of her staring at her turntables until she finished (i'm the big guy with glasses and a chemise bleue) . At 2:30 i went to that pole tryiing to find you guys but i saw NO ONE , i've been there for 10 minutes then i decided to look for you in all the rooms, unfortunately i saw NO ONE Anyways when Maus finished , i told her she and her music are both great and then i went to the main room right in front of Nivoc (like for PvD , Max Graham , etc ...) waiting for Tiesto to appear . Once he appeared , it was the euphoria , everybody was screaming his name TIESTO TIESTO TIESTO , the crowd went simply nutz . Tiesto and his "magik" smile had the best welcome a crowd could give (i'm comparing to the Dance Valley crowd , i haven't been there but a have a video and i can tell you our crowd is better hehe) , not even PvD had the same welcome . I'm pretty sure he was impressed by us . Anyways the first thing he did was taking his vinyls off the metallic case . I saw Orinoko , Flight 643 , Jan Jonsthon and a couple of white labels . Like delstar said in a previous thread , if u don't know at least 85% of what he spun , then u don't deserve to go and see him . Tiesto started with Iio - Rapture (Deep Dish Remix if i'm not wrong) it was so amazing because at this moment i was staring at him and singing the song in the same time (like a fag lmao but it's Tiesto guys !!!) . In the middle of the song i couldn't help myself and i gave him a card that he signed . Right after i had this little sheet of paper where i wrote previously "Danke Je Tijs , Je de beste , i love flight 643 and urban train , from ur fan Taha" i gave it to him , he took time to read it and then he smiled at me and he shook my hand (I was the second one to get an autograph and the first one he shook his hand with !!!) i went nutz in front of him . At this time i was really really tired , all i wanted is to find a place where to sit and enjoy his music , but everytime Tiesto threw a track that i know , i was like in my head "no i can't go to the back" . By the way here's what i could remember from what he played : Iio - Rapture , Airwave - Save Me , Schiller - Das Glockenspiel , Insigma - Open Your Eyes , DJ Tiesto versus Kosheen - Hide U , DJ Tiesto - Flight 643 , King of Clubs - Revelation , Katana - Fancy Fair , CJ Bolland - The Prophet , Fire & Ice - Souvenir de Chine , DJ Tiesto - Urban Train ... and i know i forgot more (i hope the other TA's remember the rest) . Generally it was a wicked night , except for two little facts : 1- Urban Train isn't supposed to be played with phat bass , they fucked up the track , it sounded so bad (thank God it was the last track) 2- No TA meeting . The only people i saw were : DJ Happy (avec sa tétine lol) and a guy with a blue t-shirt where in the back it was written "DJ Tiesto is god" (sorry guy didn't remember ur name nor ur nickname) . Oh by the way i was staring at everybody's t-shirt like a weirdo trying to find Eli (TheRizzler) or J-f (RnakR) , unfortunately ... anyways i hope everybody enjoyed their night , especially those who came from Ottawa & Boston (i hope that PVD_11 could make it) .
That's probably the longest review i wrote in TA , i'm waiting for ur comments , questions , etc ...
