Question REX and Redrum

Hi Guys

Im wondering if anyone could help me out here, If i have a series of sounds set into redrum i.e kick, snare, hats etc is there anyway REX can control/modify the pattern and sounds?

Being new to Reason sorry if my question is lame or dosnt make sense

If you mean modifying the patterns in that way the ReDrum itself can do it.... No, the Rex can not do that.

Nevertheless you can make patterns yourself another way by selecting the REX device and then clicking that little Drum Symbol somewhere in the upper left corner of the Graphical User Interface...

Well i'll try to explain it to ya then...

When you look at Reason's realistic interface, the window consists of mainly 2 parts. One where you can actually see the devices you use, e.g. subtractors, redrums and other synths, and one part that looks like a sequencer. This is the part where the devices you use are being displayed as little rectangular forms in the left side of the screen.

In this part, you see all kinds of symbols on top of this window, like a pencil, an eraser, a magnifying glass and a hand. In this same row is a symbol that displays a drum. Click this symbol and you'll be able to edit the precussion patterns dude.
