good stuff danny, typing as i listen

-start sounds like N-Trance: Set you freeeeeee
-nice panning on the percs
-strange structure, definately an intro tune. impossible to mix!
-kick is good, clap is fine too.
-really nice fx swirling around here, very unique
-its melodic from the word go, no teasing the structure in just whack here we go melody in ya face
-lacking a solid offbeat open hi hat
-bassline seems to be hiding somewhere in the mix needs to be sharpened up
-seems u are learning lots of the hidden tricks in reason, massive progression in quality of production here with u danny. more progress like this and u will have some really nice tracks on the way
-getting darker now, german influences. cygnus x / mark norman darkness
-big phat offbeat strings brainbug-ish like it (prob 2 much reverb)
-even though its a 192 mp3 it sounds muddy, not as sharp as a 192 should. perhaps thats ur mastering
-nice ideas and new techniques here its good to see ur not sticking to a formula

anyone looking for a quirky trance rule breaker then give this a download.

overall a vast improvement and lots of new techniques introduced from the d-man. at this rate u will have some spanking trance bad boys for us fairly soon.

good work danny

thanks for the feedback john and sunquest. yeah the track was suppose to be something different trying to get a bit of a style. yeah john defo an intro track that was the idea

sunquest as you know really like your stuff. i might start using some vsts for my bass, stop em becoming so muddy. and as usual i just cant resist drowning my tracks in reverb hehe.

but yeah i know i still have a way to go with the mastering but that will come with time and practice hopefully.

thanks again guys

anyone else??

Hi m8, your production sounds heaps better than your last tune, making lots of progress there! I liked the melody from the start of the tune, but towards the middle it gets a bit boring, with that single offbeat note.
Keep up the good work mate, can definitely hear the improvement in this one!

thanks for the feedback pho mo, hehe i knew it would'nt be to everyones taste but i wanted to try something different so i just had a bit of fun with it. anyways i'm more concerned with the standard of mixing and mastering, once this is improving i'll be happy.

mybe you might enjoy my next track more.

thanks again man

Really nice song - sounds like the Bongo song at the start - but less cheesy and nicely produced
