Question Stanton RM-THREE mixer

Is the RM-THREE a decent mixer? I bought one used from a friend for $100, but I'm still waiting for a replacement power supply, and I saw someone else mention in another topic that it sucked. It looks like its got more than enough features for a beginnering such as myself, what's so bad about it?

I use to own the newer version, the rm3-s. What a total pos. The up faders were crap w/ a crappy curve, the sound quality was horriable, the x-fader had no curve adj and a shitty curve, the phono preamps died, the effects send/return was horriable at best, the eq did nothing to help the sound quality, The only good thing about the rm3s was it made me realised how shitty stanton mixers have gotten in the past 3years.

Only if your getting it for free. I should also tell you that i've only owned my mixer for 5-6months before i just gave it away. If i were you, i would try and hunt down a Tascam xs-8 for $150. It basically is a Ecler hak-320 that was remarked under the Tascam name.

crap.... I just re-read your first post. I would give it back to your "friend" and get your $100 back. A true friend will never sell it used w/o a power supply for $100. I bought the mixer brand new for $100 and i i still thought it was a waste of money.
