help with soundforge please??

trying to record mixes using soundforge, but the program won't respond to changes i make in the systems volume control, the input is still very high. Even if i mute the line in on my volume control, the sound still gets to soundforge, any ideas??

you probably have your recording input set to "stereo mix", or "what you hear", or whatever your sound drivers call it, or you havent altered the system recording input.

have you been in your recording settings? go to volume control, options>properties then switch it to recording controls and play with the relevent faders.

when ur in the recording window, goto the dc adjust tab, and click it, so that it's checked...turn your mixer on and decks..let it play at the volume u wish to hear it at... than click the calibrate tab...this should do the job....
