Be Cool! Whistler Scene

I was wondering what the rave/trance scene is like up in Whistler. Do they ever get any big time DJs? I'll be there this season from Feb 9th - 16th.

Thanks,
Mike

hmm, i've actually never heard of any big-name dj's in whislter. i dont think there is much of a local rave scene, as the population is pretty small. there is only like a couple night clubs, and they dont play electronic music (at least last time i was there). but its still a wicked place to party , even though its very small- a village more than a town. i think "tommy africa's" is the best club there, maybe they play some trance these days, but i wouldn't expect any big-name djs . if i hear of anything i'll let ya know, but your best bet would be to stop over in vancouver if possible.

I don't think too many big DJ's make the trip up there cause there's simply not enough people up there for them to be that well known. But I know that Dr. Trance did play up there earlier this year at Tommy Africa's... so they do come occasionaly
