I have a RME multiface. I bought it this year to replace my M-audio delta 66. I still have the delta 66 in the other computer now.. But what can i say. It sound's better than my m-audio Delta 66 card, It's plug in and forget. I never had any problems whatsoever with it, running win xp and Cubase sx 2 + Tc powercore. My recordings sound better, and the latency is low. When i was buying a new card i looked into RME and Motu. But after testing both cards i chose RME. If you are looking for something that works and sounds good, i highly reccomend rme. Some people say that that m audio sound almost as good, but You will not know untill you have both cards home. Well i had both in one computer and using same mixes, and same monitors i was switching between them to see how big the diefferance is. And I can say the diefference is enough to convince me, and 2 of my friends to go ditch their m-audio cards and get RME.. Best bet is to demo the unit, or purchese it from a store and compare it to your current card in your own home enviroment. Just make sure you can return it if you're not happy, But I doubt that.. |
woot.. look like its worth of money to get it. How much did you get for RME Soundcard? Any idea how much FireFace800 will cost how much?
Glad to know you are using RME SC. You direct in all your equipment to the soundcard right since it had 8 I/O
