DJ or Producer?

Would you rather be a famous trance DJ or a famous trance producer?? I personally would rather be a famous producer. Have your say!

Stamps.

I'd rather be a DJ, get to travel around the world and make as much if not more money than producers.

I'd have to say DJ - I think producing is the more skilled art form and deserves more respect, but it just doesn't get me off as much as the thought of playing live to a big crowd

EXACTLY what Kia just said! But it looks like I'll be a producer before I'm a DJ... if anything.

i'm gunna have to agree with kia and trippa on this one too... although it would be pretty fun to sit down in a nice studio and write a song whenever you feel like it...

Producer.. they MAKE the music.. DJs just play it.. (:

Now I love DJs and all and they do get tihngs moving and nothing like "being there" but.. mostly I just like to listen to quality productions. (:

Oh sh*t.. I misread the poll..

I'd rather be a DJ myself.. and get crowds moving.. x.x;

But I like producers better.. just wouldn't want to be one.

Shame / Disagreement Producer

Come on guys, the people dance to the producers not to the DJ's, I could just plug in my cassette player and play a good tuine nobody has heard but love and they would be like "who's this" or "what is this?!" its the sound system and music that makes the vibe - you produce a track and hear it in a club and see everyone jumpin to it and your like WHOA! LOOK AT THEM! THEY LOVE MEEEEE! OOOOO! and you dont know what to say

its better because after a while, DJ'ing in residency feels a bit tiresome
