You know, I don't understand why nations don't just legalize drugs. I'm not an addict, I've never tried drugs, and probably never will, but it doesn't make sense for them to make them illegal, especially since you can get them just about anywhere anyway. I think that if you legalize drugs, it probably won't be such a thrill to take them. I mean half of the thrill is knowing that you can't have them. I was talking to a dutch person about that and they said it's not really that much fun for them because they can get it anytime legally. I figure if they legalized drugs, most of the people will be mature enough to handle them (lie, but that's what I hope) without really F***ing themselves up that bad. What do you guys have to say

the reason drugs are illegal is because drugs promote child molestation. i was watching the news and there was this child molester. as a teenager, he had done drugs. case closed.

the reason they don't legalize drugs is because they would loose the next election.

relatively small proportion of the population do use anything more than weed, and the relateively small proportion of the population that do use anything more than weed CAN get what they want more or less.

cannabis is now class C here and every so often you get newspaper headlines "ecstasy not as bad as heroin".

they are clamping down on smoking, and everyone already knows booze can fuk you up.

next years daily mail: Your kids use drugs, but it's OK.

As far as I'm concerned, the laws can stay just the way they are. I have no trouble getting weed and it's pretty cheap. On top of that, the cops don't enforce the laws for possession of small amounts.
