is there any way to record with my ipod?
i am gonna be playing in a club next week and i want to record my set...any ideas?

ipod's record feature is limited to 8 seconds or so. That voice memo thing is all it can do. you would need an iriver, creative labs, or a md recorder to do what you want.

You most definitely CAN record with a (3rd generation or later) iPod:
These two are for voice, just a microphone and speaker, they doesn't have and external input so probably not the best option: Griffin iTalk Belkin Voice Recorder

I dunno, that only records 16-bit audio at 8kHz. Also, it looks like it doesn't record in stereo. While this adaptor is outstanding for lectures and interviews, for actual music, it is inadequate.
I reeeeeeally wish they could make a line-in record adaptor for my ipod. I would buy it in a heartbeat. I really want a stand-alone recording device, so I don't have to run my master through my computer.
