After months of repeatedly sitting on the bench, Angelos Charisteas has moved from Werder Bremen to Ajax for 5000000 pounds (12000000 Australian dollars). He will be linking up with fellow Greek Yiannis Anastasiou there, and will hopefully get the starting place he deserves.

I have never seen Angelos play. Im sure Koeman knows what hes doing. I have been an ajax fan since ive been a fetus. Fav team for life .

I changed my mind about Charisteas, it's more prestigious to Portugal to be beaten by great player than by a nobody. So may he have a great career and lead Ajax back to great titles
