Hi everyone,

Im starting in music production (I´ve already got some experience using Logic with some VSTs as Albino/Pro-53/FM7/absynth, etc), and I would like to get some information about hardware.

Yesterday, I sent an email for Probspot and Oliver Dey to ask them how they started. Both answered: with a MIDI keyboard, a good soundcard, VSTs and a sequencer (Steinberg Cubase).

I want to know which kind of keyboard I should buy (preference for the cheaper one ) and which soundcard (24bit)?

About the VSTs, which ones are good to make Progressive Trance. I also want to know about presets (sometimes I try to change some configurations such as CUT, ATTACK, REVERB, etc, but I dont get so much result). How you guys usually do with it? Just use samples, or always customize each kind of preset? And where to get more presets?

The most possible answers you guys can give me will be thankful!
