I have been wondering this for a while. What genre is Timo Maas classified in. To me his songs and remixes do not soung like trance at all, yet they are on alot of trance cd's ect. If someone can please let me know he is classified under (Techno, House, Ect.) Thanks

I don't think there's a genre that would perfectly fit Timo Maas, and that's why I think we all have different opinions about it.

To me most of his productions sound like technoelectro house. I also saw that it was categorized as Tech-House somewhere.

I think he spans different genres, with projects such as "Mama Konda". Take a listen to his "Music for the Maases" CD, and you'll see that it goes everywhere from techno to progressive-house.

LOL suzaku! ditto! He plays a lot of different stuff, but what i think he does best is progressive trance, coz the progressive he plays aint just progressive, its twisted to fuck as well!! Thing is with timo, he makes different sounding tunes fit in.. e.g. i heard him play a set once that was mainly progressive, but he got a bit of techno stuff in, and some tribal along with some deep house, and it sounded amazing!

Peace
