Confused How do you find your Trance music

Just wonderin'...
How do you find your music?
Buddy? DJ Pooling? Trance charts? Radio?
I just ask because you guys seem to be so up on your Trance, I find myself downloading for hours trying to keep up!

dude you just gotta peruse the boards and download EVERY song you ever see mentioned.... some you'll like, some you won't. Most songs people recommend or talk about you can usually tell what genre of trance it is based on thread title (i.e. "can anyone suggest good techno", "your favorite sad-trance tunes")... Thats how 95% of us get our trance ideas.

..as for the other 5%, those are the guys/gals who find out about stuff before it comes out and so kindly alert us to it.

Cheers!

I get complete albums and download every song from ftps etc. But bring a pen and paper to a club or rave and when you hear a wicked tune that you don't know , go ask the DJ when he is not busy. A lot of times I find the DJ are only too happy to oblige. Take part in music discussions.

alt.binaries.sounds.mp3.dance has a ton of trance. Most of it is older or in the Psy/Goa genre, but very good stuff.

Of course TA is the most kick-A$$ place to find out what's new and/or hot in the clubs around the world! /end pimpage

Charts and setlists! You can find these at big name DJ's websites and some vinyl store websites. Also record stores bestseller charts are helpful. And if there's a record store near you visit it once a week the day they recieve their new releases and listen to every single song they get.

You can only TRY to keep up with me.
