Oceanseeker - Memory Grind Download Here

www.ctgmusic.com/song.php?id=5657

Download on the right of the page.

Blue Fear synth song with a lot of hard elements, fast speed. A lot of people don't like this song, so its only designed for a specific audience, but I put almost everything I had into it. My equipment, my ideas, my computer had 90% of its CPU being used just to have the program file's open. Like 50 tracks, and some other stuff. If you are looking for some non-lyrical meaning of the song, or what I had in mind when I was writing it, I just was trying to portray the concept of memory, mainly because you lose part of it constantly as you exist, and therefore, you constantly lose a part of yourself. That could be a lame concept, but oh well :P enjoy the hard song, with some cool old school sounds, like really old school as in 70s.

i don't know what it is about the track but i do like it for some reason. It has so much going on and is not a simple tune and for that I thinkits good. One thing you did do that probably saved this tune from being horrible is Kick and underlining percission..this was one of the major elements that really took the track to where it is supposed to be.

Cool progressive tune.

I absolutely love it... think its one of the best tunes I've heard on TA so far. I can literally feel emotions and thoughts behind the track... thats become pretty rare with trance music to me. Despite the trippy and driving attitude, this track is best suited for listening on headphones if you ask me. Well, I could criticize some little technical issues but I wouldnt change much for this one is in my eyes a little masterpiece. Great!

the opening would fit some fackin movie dude , pretty epic. I think those strings and pads sound to metallic, warm them up a bit. Kick and percussoin then, excellent drive, this sounds very nice so far, original....emotional, epic. Very trippy indeed and nice sounds used. Kick drowns a bit in all the sounds.....nothing more to say really, this is awesome to listen too. Get this offline and signed.

Hey, thanks a lot for the positive feedback =]
I emailed it to a few labels, but I have no idea who would be interested in a track like this?

And I'm keeping track of the number of downloads, once it goes over 50, then i'll take it off

But yeah, I am really confused, I never get any responds back from labels, sometimes on my previous stuff "It is ok" or "It needs some work, but I like it" and then they usually don't follow up or something :S

Anyways, thanks a lot for the feedback.

Hey there Ocean Seeker,

I don't think this track will get signed by anyone because it is not mainstream enough. But man, you do have a total original way of making trance. It is indeed a hard track to listen to, but I never though "hmm let's turn it off" It has a great atmosphere. I love the bassline. It is pretty fast paced..... I am searching for the right words

When I read you are Canadian, it did not surprise me, Canadians and Americans right now produce trance in the way we dutch did it in the beginning years. You guys are still fresh and original

Anyways, just a few minor points. Try to make the track sound a bit fuller. Now it sounds canned.... a bit flat. For the rest, maybe an extra melody line over the themelead to give the track a bit more body and variation.

But, really nice track. I am playing it for the second time in a row

Maybe for the more progressive labels and DJ's this could afterall be a highlight of their set!

Cheers and keep up the good work!

i love fear synths!!
i imagined something different... some elements sounds kind of bleepy to me
original: yes, but not my cup of tea
imo i'll erase or edit (shorten) everything before 3:50
increase the volume of the fearsynth, some parts the fear-lead/synth gets masked.
