I'm new to Reason, and i'm not sure myself how he did it... but Robert Nickson said it's automation on the mod wheel or resonance. You can achieve that by recording the whole song like that, or using a matrix hooked up to the back of the Malstroem/Subtractor. I'm not really sure how he got the sound itself, it's interesting, I think it's the same note, kind of like a bassline, but resonance up-down and some other slight effects. Play around, maybe someone can help you, sorry ;/

yes its playing the same key as the bassline but my problem is to archive it like the way it is on the sample.
