the X1500 is MILES ahead of the DJM600 these days.. The 600 is good, but really outdated these days compared to the Nuo5, X1500..
The update has fixed numerous issues with the 1500. and it is my favorite mixer to date. Sound quality is much better than the 600, even if the 600 still getting used at Massives.
The 600 just doesn't really compete these days, ESPECIALLY at the cost it still at.

The 600 has nothing on the x1500... the 1500's sound quality is so much better. I ended up getting the 1500 because it was what i could do the most with i.e. the seperate sampler (so you can take a sample and effect it, something the 600 can't being one or the other), the channel input matrix (so you can run your sources from what ever channel you want by turning the dial) and just the all round build and tightness of the faders on the 1500
its hardly any competition.. the 600 is long dead and gone

x1500 all the way
i own one,and the thing is built top notch, like a tank. Sound quality is great, there really isnt a battle here, the 600 is so outdated that for its price its a laugh.

ok, well I'm gonna have to disagree with everyone so far. I used to have a DJM 600 and loved it. People keep commenting on the sound quality, but I honestly don't think that most people can tell a difference, especially considering most peopel only get to hear how certain mixers perform in bedrooms. Like you can tell that the Denon sounds better than the Pioneer on boom box speakers or affordable monitors. I own a Xone 92 and can't tell the difference in soudn between it and the DJM. And it ain't liek you can compated club installed versions of each, because no clubs use the Denon as a main mixer like they do the Pioneer all over the world. In terms of the Denon, I played with it and remember there being a considerable delay on the up faders which is annoying. And I don't really find much use for half the effects and the nifty little "tube display" that it boasts. The Pioneer, IMO is much better laid out, and has a much more comfortable feel to it. I think the Denon feels and looks kinds of cheap to tell you the truth....with that two tone black finish and bright ass flashing lights and buttons. My vote goes for the DJM.

ı totally agree wıth you mate , ın djm 600 the tap button owns but ın dnx 1500 the tap button ıs for mesurıng bpm and leadıng u ınto the menus and ıts too complicated , echo ıs fixed by last update but when u turn off the echo effect its not turned off ... they fixed it but there are many bugs in the dnx
well all the clubs choose djm 600 and im not a dj who play out it the clubs but i really like the looj of 600 (oldskool) the dnx is way too digitalized and got no ground input for tt's (couldnt see on the back of the mixer)
i'll order these mixers from germany the price is same think so about 700 € (dunno excaltly the site is down)
waitin new comments from djm and dnx users
tnx for answers guys btw sorry bout my bad english

First of all, it does have ground screws. You can see them if you search for it at googles imagesearch.
They are specified in the manual by the way, DNX-1500 manual
Secondly, dont mention bugs that have been fixed because they dont matter anymore. They are fixed, so they wont
interfere with operating the mixer.
I personally would go for the DNX-1500 (having a Behringer X700 now) because it is state of the art compared to the
DJM-600. Really, if you could choose between a mixer that is known for bad sound quality OR a mixer with good sound quality, would you
take the one with the suckier quality?
Just becuase its in clubs?

can you (or anyone for that matter) explain this statement? about the djm600 being known for poor sound quality? is there proof of this? evidence?

This is ofcourse rather hard to "prove" to you, mainly because of two reasons. One, i dont think you will approve of
me posting link after link after link of people who says they have used/owned a DJM-600 but switched to say a A&H Xone
becuase of distortion, low quality components and so on but i dont think thats gonna cut it for you.
Two, the DJM is too old to have been compared to any new mixers such as the DJX-1500. If the DJX-1500 gets a 9/10 and the
DJM-600 also got a 9/10 it doesnt mean they are equally good (or bad) because of the mere age of the DJM.
However, i dont own a DJM-600 but i am switching mixer next month and reading lots of peoples comments about them beeing
dissapointed in the sound and build quality of the mixer doesnt make me say "hey, lets get a djm-600, so many clubs have one!"
But i dont think you can hear the difference that good on a low end sound system, but why get a mixer that you know
has bad quality when you can get better?
