Somehow, after my parents switched brands, in the end of every milk carton, there seems to be a couple of centimetres of yogurt (or something else really thick). How common is that? I know yogurt comes from fermented milk, but the milk wasn't supposed to be fermented in the first place... or at least, that's what I thought.

"In every milk package that ends"
Did they buy a bunch of cartons at once? Or did they continue buying new ones even after you discovered that they were foul

how do you check centimeters? do you physically dissect the carton and pull out your micrometer and say "yep, .0943 centimeters today" and write it down in your log book?
i wouldnt be too worried about it.. a couple centimeters at the end means you probably ate at most.... an inch or two...right?

It's about the width of your pinky sideways. That's how you know it.
edit: It's about three quarters of inches

UHT Milk is different, and can often do this.
Make sure you check the dates though...

Milk... although that skimmed milk does taste like water
I realised there was something wrong when I held the carton and it was still heavier than it should. I tried to pour more milk in my mug, but there was none, so I decided to open the carton and have a look. That's when I noticed the milk had become solid, reason why I thought it was yogurt
