Well i know how it is to be under bombs,I was in Serbia year 2000 when NATO-s air forces bombed Serbia... |
i knew these two bosnians sisters on my track team, they looked fine, but they told me stories, of how their father would go off to fight and wouldnt come back for 6 monthes, not knowing if he was dead or alive. and hearing the gunfire from different parts of the city. and hearing the NATO planes flying overhead, not knowing if one of their bombs will fall on their house.
my father also went to irak when america invaded. he told me of the SCUD missiles attacks, and having to scurry to an improvised bunker/shelter. one landed 800 meters away, and sent a huge shockwave through the shelter. he told me, he was just nervous somewhat and anxious, but there were civilian contractors there, who he said, who were freaking out and crying, and had to be calmed down.
