Anyone here ever heard of her or listen to any of her stuff? Very melodic and some really nice stuff esp. 'Trust'. Ferry, Armin and some other people have done remixes for her too.

I've heard lots of remixes of Ayu tracks, some good, some even better and some worse than warm d0ggie p00. I'm not a huge fan of her singing so i usually prefer instrumentals if available. In some tracks her vocals work for me tho, like in M (Above & Beyond Vocal Mix). Some of my favs are:

i know, it was not like you didn't see it comming, avex's campaign strategy was massive and it took it's toll on the recordbuyers, i mean jesus, during her big period (like 2002) avex released a new thing every month and they expected that people would buy it all, i mean my wallet said stop. i think several else did, plus her songs started to get really boring, memorial address was really a disapointment, her new album is also a dissapointment. i don't particulary like her much anymore. anyhow, my fav remixes

Glad to know some of u are/were into her. I was 1 during her early-mid peak. And I really mean it; I was into everything of hers. It was great 'worshipping' her during e days lol but your wallet will always go nuts as avex releases singles every fking 1 or 2 mths. And tonnes of misc cd releases like those remixes 1. NOT easy to keep up with but somehow i managed to I had big&small posters on the wall of my room & 50 over cds of hers i believe. She was here in SG once for the MTVAA. Still remember how mad we local fans here chased her around in SG like the paparazzi
