Thumbs up REVIEW & PICS: Dj Woody & Brett King @ Element!!!!!

I ALMOST didn't go out last night because I wasn't feeling good.... but I'm sooooo glad I made it out!!! I can't believe how many people I knew were there!!! It was really packed... good turn out! It was so nice to see everyone again after a few months!

Woody started at 11pm, and I liked his set alot!! He went from breaks, to prog house, to trance, to 80's, to techno, to Gwen Stephani.... all within an hour! He had the crowd going!! My favorite songs in his set were Probspot- Pressure.... and Killers- Mr. Brightside (thin white duke remix)... wow that song was amazing!! I heard it on a rock station when I was in Canada! Oh ya, and he played Mauro Picotto- Tell Me Somthing, cuz he knows how much i luv mauro!! lol Woody is definetly a crowd pleaser!!

Brett King started at 12am... his set was cool. I didn't really recognize any of the songs except a remix of "Ride", I forget who it's by. But ya, I enjoyed his set alot!! I didn't really get the chance to chat with him though...

I had such a good night, except at the end when Woody was sorting things out with his friends, I got stuck with the bar owner, and he wouldn't get the hint that I was NOT interested in him!! lol For fucks sake, if I'm not flirting with u, then give up already!!

Chable & Bonnici - Ride

Luke Chable is touring with Dave Seaman in April and they hit LA @ the Mayan on like April 6th or something, a Wednesday night.

Will be seeing them here in SF on April 8th. Can't wait to hear Dave again...heard Luke can be rough when it comes to DJing.

it was the King Unique remix of Ride...sasha's been playing it out a bunch...i believe dave seaman may have been playing it as well. king unique plays it...digweed too. that song is a definite floor rocker. oh brett also played luke fair - bloc rock. anywhoo awesome turn out. like i said before, cant' wait for the next one

Hey guys !

I must say that I had a GREAT time on Friday ( other than sweatin' my ass off because the pizza ovens !!! ) it was a really fun time indeed and I must thank everyone for coming out.

Thanks to you Jesse and the Moda boys, you guys treated me extremely well and were the poster children of how promoters should conduct buisness, and I must say that I look forward to playing for you guys again
