He probably told them not to put him on it.

just because someone's named is mentioned more often doesn't mean its good publicity. that's like saying michael jackson's child molestation case is going to help him sell more cd's...

you're more cynical than me - but it probably is a publicity stunt - i always thought armin and armada were some sly dogs

he clearly only cares about #1 - all of his actions regarding his radio show and other management issues clearly reflect a desire to be #1 and to push other dj's out of the way - he wants #1 for the $$$ - so that he can command more money for each dj gig.

the fact that armin felt the need to respond to the rumors demonstrates that he cares about the polls out there.

Yeah, it's just plain shit really and intended for radio play. The melody is a rip off of 4 other tracks that I can think of.
