Disaster! HELP me please

My headphone plug got stuck inside the mixer's headphone jack. When i took out the headphones the end part of the plug got stuck inside. Kinda just split from the unscrewable part of the ogld adaptor.

Dunno if u get me but now there is a piece stuck INSIDE my mixer's headphone jack.

How the heck can I get it out ?!?! Even by unscrewing the mixer I might not be able to coz it's INSIDE the hole.

HELP~!!!

well since the headphone jack is already broke... put some super glue [or EPXOY (the things you can do with epoxy!)] at the end of a stick. Pop it out

Ok to clarify things:

the headphones are hdj1000s. the actualy 1/4 jack is not damaged, it is the adaptor jack that we use for plugging the h/ps to the mixer that like split in two. so the screw on part is still on the headphones just that the tip of it is stuck inside.

there are 2 thin metal strips thats all I can see in the hole.

If i try to superglue it may not stick well coz the surface area is so thin.

The mixer is a DJX700. I unscrewed the top panel to see if u could remove the stuck piece from underneath the headphone jack hole thing.

But theres something blocking so thats out of the question.

I've tried tweezers but like I said earlier those metal 'legs' are too slim so its hard to get a grip.

mannnnnnnnnnn... this sucks.

What I'd do is solder wires onto the little wire legs and pull that ****** out.

Make sure to try and solder as much of the leg things to the wire as possible (solder over the greatest length of the leg as possible).

Possibly depends on how much you can see/ size of your soldering iron tip I supose though.

Without knowing the mixer it might be easier to try to properly take it to bits.

I'm with Orbiutal on this one, get a matchstick, whack some araldite (epoxy resin) on the end and, very carefully, stick it too the offending plug.... done this before and it works a treat.

You should just replace the complete headphones socket.

That happened to me once, but it was the Tip of the 1/8 - 1/4 inch
adaptor.

Had to replace the whole thing. There's really no way to get it out
without damaging the pins in the process. Go to your local Radio
Shack, and, pick up a new 1/4 Stereo Socket.

groovable:
Yeah I tried to unscrew the top panel.. but beneath the headphone socket theres like a lid or sumthing which I don't wanna remove coz it looks pretty delicate!

OMNIFEX .. won't I need to wire the thing back to the mixer parts.. that will be quite risky as well.. might screw it up.
