Hi,

We are proud to present our new track. Its the first mix and we have to fix some little things. The track is a trancey one

Very nice track. I like the strings, very well done. Good kick and bass, nice drive. I don't like the clap, it sounds a bit lo-fi imo. The synths are great. Melodies are good, a bit too standard i think but they are nice. The overall soundquality is very good, wish i could let my tracks sound like this one. Well, good job.

- the intro would sound better if the synths were all a bit fuller. like using more voices or adding another note in the chords at the bottom end
- the higher pitched notes of the strings should perhaps be a bit more prominent, so they are not over powered by the bottom end
- within the main beat, id work more with the hats and percs make them more interesting and less 'common'
- melodies are nice, but better programming would provide the much needed energy and punch

for the intro, i'd phatten up the low end to add more atmosphere.

i'd maybe consider dropping a note or two out of that high freq sample in the early intro, maybe give it some echo with lowering volume, like a pin fall.

oops, let me rephrase, for the intro, phatten that synth!!

the bass is a bit loud imo.
the kick and percs are a bit metalic for my tastes, the kick sounds a bit flat, maybe go with a sharp kick? - nm, you changed that at 2:40ish, but it sounds a bit thin still.

i like the melody, but you drop that clap a bit early, run it another 32 imo. the 3-3:50 area sounds recycled with that clap dropping, sounds like you're stretching the track, but that's a matter of taste. (and im being an overly picky a*s tonight! )

i like the melody, and the atmosphere has definite potential.

lead into the break is a bit meh, fading out the layers like that doesn't sound right. sometimes the age old recipes work best.

love the piano. love the synth, needs a bit of work still. when coming into the break, let that awesome lead work its way up, or have the kick break off, rather than fade out.

a pleasant surprise at 6:30ish! I'd re-work the piano into this leading up to the build-up, again, taste

K, I'll stop hear before I write a friggen novel. I woudn't be this harsh if I didn't think this track has a lot of potential. Renco mate, sounding much better imo than stonefusion so far (no offense meant )

Subjective opinion:

The progression is very nice and that melody over is well spotted in the trance part. I like the trance part more than the intro. As said above, the intro sounds a bit too pure to maintain the atmosphere going thru. The track can be worked out into an epic masterpiece. Good luck.

great beats/bass, great strings, kinda theatrical hehe

kind of old ferry/tiesto style

only thing i can suggest is the main melody part starts wayyyyyyy too late, and maybe make a little more variation with the saw synth when it all hits...

Hey there,

Listened to the track. The soundquality is really outstanding, my compliments for that. The track itself doesn't really do much for me.The break is really nice but very weak, I was waiting for a euphoric build up during the break which too bad did not happen.

The leadsound is introduced and that is really nice, but again the melody is quite simple and with only the lead sound after the break the track sounds rather empty and flat. If you guys added another stringpart or riff the track would become fuller and more euphoric.

You should also use another kick, this sounds a bit to ploppy.

Overal a decent track which can become a good track if you polish it here and there.

Cheers,

Nomen Nescio
