I have Noemi - Y.O.U., but just to let you know, before you make the mistake I did, I first heard it on a Paul Van Dyk set, which sounded amazing.... but... it's his own reedit on his sets! The Mezziah remix bassline is absolutely SICK!, but it gets cheesy real quick after the breakdown. His re-edit is not availabe.
just so you know

hi mate
yeah thanks 4 the info....yes i realised it was the pvd re-edit...so i thought that there would be a little differnce between that and the actual mezziah remix....how soon does that breakdown come in?.....cos i might just risk buying it, and then try to mix out of the breakdown...cos i just really like the vocals....oh and another thing...has he edited alot of the vocals out as well?
cheers

pvd's cut can easily be re-created, just rip the vinyl and cut out the cheesy part (which is what paul mainly did), and then play it on cdr, that is what paul did

Yeah, basically, Paul did just cut out the cheesy part. He keeps the vocals in though. Let's just say that when the breakdown is over, you would her the bassline kick back in and it's fucking almost unexpected, and awesome. What you are hearing on his reedit, is the breakdown only, and not the buildup, which the Mezziah remix has, and sucks, BIGTIME! Kinda like "cheesy Sandstorm clubby" buildup, if you know what I mean.
So yeah, grab 2 copies of this record (because I don't believe in spinning cdr's) and mix out the cheesy part yourself. I may look for another copy myself, but then I wonder how worth it, it really is

yeah i hear what your saying....basically i should try to see if i can listen to the original mezziah remix somehow.....however if i cant get to listen to it....i will just try and find and buy a copy and see what i can do with it....and try to minimise the cheese factor....but i just love those vocals
and i wouldnt think it would be that worth it for you to buy 2 copys unless you could find one a) easily and b) cheap.....but i cant even find one easily!

It took me some time too, but you'll come across it. If I locate a sample, I'll PM you.

It's fun to try and play around with it and mix it out before the buildup again. I've tried to throw in soooooooo many different tunes that will compliment it nicely.... it's more difficult than you think, but it can be done.
