Arctic Breeze - ???

It's been a while since I've posted here now. Been busy doing other stuff... Here's a tune I started making some time ag, but I haven't been able to do anything good with it lately. Any comments?

So far, I like it. I think your higher percussion, such as hats and such, could be getting a bit more attention in the mix. Other than that, it's got amazing tension and energy. Keep it up.

Currently listening, quality is up there. Good chilled progressive sound so far. That clap at the beginning was sweet sounding. I love how it cut off on the next beat. So far so good, keep working at this one *thumbs up*

Hey man, big fan of your sound! You do some great productions. This one isnt as driving as avalanche or corsair, but its still got a good sound to it.

I'm waiting for that main lead that you bring in at 1 minute to do something really cool but then it just fades away. It could go up an octave or something or just get some variation on the melody. The rest of the synths are fairly repeditive so some variation on it could contrast well.

Anyway, nice stuff, keep it up.

Hey,
Listening .... I really like your Drums here, kick is very strong, your FX as usually are really goods. That suynth lead that appears after the intro is pretty good, but I would add more reverb to it imo , your clap is really cool also, the buildup is well done also.
In overall, this is going very well, the bulld up is very good, kinda conventional, the synths that appears later are yumis, I am waiting for a piano to show up!! :P, good wor keep ous updated plz .
Kopi =o.

awesome how the clap pierces through the mix. Ya defo a good one.

Nice it keeps building. I think you must make the choirs come up a bit more during the build make them scream and then bang a sudden stop with just a bassstring and build your way to the break

saw synth is nice, finally a good placed saw synth the way i like it, maybe it can be a tiny bit louder but i wouldn't over do it.

thats all

I'm trying out some different styles now, I felt it was about time to do something different. About the main lead and the melody, I'm still not sure where I'm going with it. I need something smashing for the breakdown part. I've made one melody but it tends to be boring. No can do!!!

I increased the reverb to the thin sawlead, much better! Thanks! And if you want some piano, send me a good sample or a piano vsti, I havent got any!

Perhaps your recepie on how to enter the breakdown will do the trick? I guess it would fit with the rest of the melody, I'm used to taking it down, piece by piece, the same way I usually build it. I'll look into that.

Thanks for your comments so far, I'll upload the update when I have got some new elements done.
Keep'em coming!

I have now quit making this tune as I could not make a proper melody for it. I sendt some MIDI's to Wes Johnson, hopefully he'll make a kickass tune of it!
