Graduation money coming in and all. My current set up is
mdr 700's
2 techs mk5g
275 mixer
2 ortofon's
2 decent speakers
What would you add to this set up given 500. 50 new vinyl? A efx 500? Looking for some help, I'm asking because I heard nothing but bad stuff running any effects through a Pcv 275. Any advice is needed and appreciated thanks.

Just be wary that if you DO go for the cdj, it's likely that you will want to get another pretty quick. That's what happened with me.
Personally, I'd save it to go towards a DN-X1500.

COme on guys... what he needs is a good mixer!
Money for vinyl can always come by every now and then and you can save up for the cdj 200s (300 only). What you need is a solid mixer which will last you a long time and has good sound quality. Save up for a denon Dn-x1500 (around 625 -650$ brand new, ebay stores) or save even more for the Allen and heath (you will never need another mixer after you get the A&H)

I appreciate all the imput given on this thread. And now I've come to the decision, Either save for a A & H mixer or get a cdj 200. I've heard nothing but good things from both the items. What can be said for the Xone 92 that hasn't been said before, just pure quality. On the other hand A cdj 200 would help me experience the CDJ life style and be better accustomed to playing out with a cdj more. Plus cheaper music but a much narrow selection of music at the same time. So, the new question. Save or get the cdj 200?

Depends on how long it would take you to save for the A&H.
Unless you are very financially strict, you should not say "I'll save" and end up with nothing.
If you cant afford and A&H (62 or better) in say, 6 months of saving, id opt for the cdjs.

i'd vote for the cdj now. opens up a lot of new stuff, and the chance to experiment with more and more varied music, without the expense of stocking up on vinyl. might even help you save more for your mixer in the long term.
