For June's shebang we're delighted to be bringing Steve Nichols to the Bordello. Any Aussie clubber who lived in London a few years back will know all about him as he dominated the scene over there for 2 years, headlining major nights like Heat, Fevah, Farenhite and Twisted, and playing to thousands at venues on the scale of Turnmills, Camden Palace and the Brixton Academy. Since returning to Australia his talent has won him a slot at the massive God’s Kitchen event and residencies in Melbourne at Frantic and Altitude. 10 years, 4 countries, 12 cities, over 300 performances to 150,000 people and counting….the guy who plays and produces with the world’s DJ elite is going to have Habit thumping!!

As well as Steve local house maestro James D will be on hand for a fresh and funky start to the night as well as the usual progressively building & uplifting sounds from the residents Mark Galpin, Lee Hardy & James Metcalfe

For anyone who’s yet to come to a Habit our aim is to create an old-skool clubbing vibe and the music can be summed up as 1) uplifting and 2) progressively building – past that we have no hard and fast rules. Residents Mark Galpin, Lee Hardy & James Metcalfe play a range of sounds from epic progressive house to older sounding driving melodic progressive trance with different guests each month adding extra variety and a new twist each time.[SIZE=1]

nightmarish news guys - Saturday's Habit is cancelled

Unfortunately there was a double-booking cock-up at the venue which was totally out of our hands - gutted about it but nothing could be done

On the plus side special guest Steve Nichols has agreed to fly up and play the first birthday night on July 2nd, so the cake for that one just got even fatter!

You can also catch him in action at Trancejunction at the Cock and Bull in Bondi Junction this Saturday now too. Habit residents Mark Galpin and Lee Hardy will be playing a B2B set as well
