Hi there!
I'm wondering where you have your fx-sounds from? Can you download them as .wav-files from any pages on the internet or are they all selfmade with your synthesizers?
I like these special effects in the backgrounds like in Tiestos "Magik Journey" at the beginning - these machine sounds which give you the feeling to be in huge steel company, you know?
I'm still an amateur and use Reason 2.5. So, are there any refills for subtractor or malstroem or can you recomment any pages on the internet?
I know, I should have taken a look into one of the stickies but I was too lazy to search for the correcz answer...
FX's can be made on any synth. A lot of LFO and Phaser action going on and I think most are made with White Noise-oscillation. Set an LFO to control every possible setting imaginable. Dry, room size, or diffusion on reverb, Resonance or Band Filters on a filter. Anything crazy you can come up with.
U could also record a waterfall, or a toilet flush. A vaacum cleaner perhaps? anything you can come up with really, there's no end to the possibilities.
LFO, Phaser,...
Sounds like hard work and a waste of time...
Is there no good page (except reasonstation.net) on the internet with completed FX sounds?
It would be easier.

If you're too lazy to search, then why should we take the time to answer?
There are TONS of sample CD's out for industrial sounds and industrial/goth music. Odds are very good that those sounds came from one or more of those.
most the fX are easy to make by using noise waves...and adjusting the ADSR Correctly thats the shizzle dizzle

Why bother producing then, if all you want is a finished project that took you all of 2 seconds to make?

@ sharvax: You're right - producing is much work. But I think that some tiny effects could be finished. I set my focus on a good arrangement, melody, bass and mastering.
Anyway, interpret this smily: " "

It depends on the kind of FX you expect.
For wave noise, nearly every synth can work but albino does an extra smooth job, I recommand it.
For more complex FXs I use FM7.
