As promised, here are some thought on the songs. I am typing this on the fly, so please excuse typos and grammatical errors. If you can't understand my ramblings, PM me and Ill attempt to explain further, in my own time.
01 Intro.
Ok on the sounds. Your best work here is with the sweeps...the kicks dont sound quite right and the fruity voice synth only somewhat works. That sample needs to be louder for starters.
02 Storm
I like the drum beginning though it is very simple. The bass that comes in is ok but nothing spectacular. Some of you FX sweeping type sounds work and some need quite a bit of tweaking Overall not terrible. Bassy synth that enters near 1:07 is ok but needs to be thicker to give it some more presence, I think. The arp in the background needs some more beef to it too, and while I don't like the notation, I think it could be successful. The return to the basic drum and bass of the beginning is good but very sudden. Not a terrible transition, nut youre not opening any eyes, for sure. The drum pattern could certainly benefit from some major variance, especially as this is something of a "breaks" track. You get a little more of that change at the end, but not enough.
03 Epilepsy
"Scary" beginning: could certainly fit into the funhouse section of clown world. Once the kick drops at the synth near :43 enters though, Im not very impressed. Similarly, when this synth becomes a lead and more complicated, Im not a big fan at all. You could certainly benefit from more warmth to your sound. Try creating multiple layers: FLStudios Layering abilities could help you here, but dont get obssesive with the either. The reverbed lead is terrible I think, it could benefit from a remastering or EQing to make it sound cleaner. Im not a big fan of this one as it is but I could hear something cool in it with some minor to major restructuring. Again drums/percussion are too monotonous for me.
04 Clownpaint Clowns
Im getting quite a tehem in your music here. Youve esatblished some conventions on the first two which you dont break here. Your arpeggios arent bad, but too similar throughout song and album (as of this point). I do like the lead in this one, but the bass and drums are definitely wanting. The bass breakdown about 100 seconds in is ok but needs a different synth. You need to do more with text to speech vocal synth besides what fruity's vanilla gives you.
05 Vision
First of all, its nice to see someone using saome 64th beats with fruity. That being said, its overused within the first couple second of your songs. The atmosphere is much better at the beginning here between drums, synths and effects giving this a nice feel, but the sounds are still somewhat amatuerish. A bit more drum variance than Ive heard but it seems like the melodics of the piece suffer. Probably my favorite so far despite its shortcoming, this one feels most like a song for me.
06 The Lab
Not a bad movement here. I prefer this bass usage a little more but it sounds quite similar to most of your basses. Same problem with the drums and arps...everything is static between your songs. This song is ok but could benefit from a stronger and more musically structured lead. The commodore sound works sometimes, but not here...id consider something a little less peaky.
07 Activate
When I saw this song title, I knew how it would sound before playing it. That said, you do more with the vocals then the average fruity noob would do, not badly done at all. Using vocals as an instrument is certainly a popular characteristic of EDM and could work for you if you choose to develop it as a skill. This song is good for a while but eventually falls into your monotony trap (my use of the word must be getting pretty bland by now ) I dont like the word 'infectious' here but it does fit musically so I wouldnt necessarily destroy it.
08 A New Dimension
Im not sure how to categorize this song but Im not a fan at all. Repetitive sounds, boring usage or music patterns, little post-production on everything...this song suffers from many of the problems shared by beginning producers. If you choose to restructure these songs, Id think carefully about inclusion of this one.
09 Bass Man (Space Man)
Not sure if this is yours but Ill review it as it were: this is by far the neatest vocal work Ive heard on the album. The bass is a bit more present, the drums are slightly interesting, and the synths arent noticeably appalling. There is a synth that comes in near 1:20 that doesnt sound vvery good but I like the concept behind this song. Could benefit from alot more attention and tweaking but a solid beginner effort.
10. Formula 1
The car and crowd cheers to start this off are obviously meant to be atmospheric but do very little, I feel. The move from intro to first full part was nice with the car SFX but the reapperance of the crowd cheering background distracted from the music. THis may have been a good thing as the music was severly repetitive at this point and could have benefited from alot of variance of any kind (notation, effects, anything!). I felt let down after listening to this...besides a synth addition about halfway through, I heard most of the track in the first 30 seconds.
11. Electricity
By this point, Id like tosay that you shouldn't always use the song title as a vocal to struture the sounds around. This is quite the tried gimmick and appears at least 4 times on this album, thats 25%. More of the same, though I like the bass work in this one a little more. The arping lead type sound near halfway to the end sounds good and could probably be developed into something much fuller.
12. Clown Town
Unlike the other song that I was able to predict, This song sounded nothing like I thought it might. As this is you closing song and thus argument to the album, I really expected something strong and new here but feel like I was treated to more of the same. Ill summarize in a minute. Most of these sounds and notations were nothing new at all, and the vocals suffer from the same problem I noted on 11.
Overall this really isnt a bad effort from a beginner. I like your mentality on music which should be a nice foundation as you start to discover what you can do musically and how you want to structure your songs. You definitely need to have the patience to make your songs more diverse in respect to the drums, basses, and synths you use. Song structure could also use alot of variance: almost every song was built exactly the same. Additionally, start to play with the knobs and settings FLStudio offers, you can do alot throughout and be recording on the fly to give your music more life. Try layering sounds as I noted above...it will give your music more presence and thickness which is usually a target goal. Try building a 16 or 32 bar drum pattern with 7 or 8 drum samples then make it grow from there...dont let the monotony of convention guide your album; instead, guide convetion. Its not something Ill probably listen to again, but that's no reason to give up, indeed it is only reason to continue developing as a musician.
