Hey mate,

Listened to your track just a few moments ago. This is really a good track atmospherewise. You have a beautiful bass, good percussion. The kick itself is not that good. It is a bit muffled, you could try a kick with a bit more high end.

Very intresting how you bring in the guitarish riff. I really love it and it is original. Then the piano riff also lovely. A lot of happening in the track. Lovely break. Usually I am not found of piano in trance and I am also not a progressive fan but this is a cross over between progressive and dreamtrance and I do indeed like it.

What is missing is obvious. After you end the break you also end the build up of the track by reintroducing only beat and bass. I would have expected the pianolead to keep going and that you would have worked on the energy from there by adding a nice full reverbed dreamy stringpad. Just like Gabriel and Dresden does in Arcadia.

Do you understand what I mean? You lose the energy and the atmosphere a bit. The break is good, then develop it from there.The last two minutes before outmix time should really have energy.

Also you take a long time before you reach the break. Might wanna shorten the build up time and give a bit more time for the part after the break.

But really it is already a good solid track!

Awesome track you have here mate, got a great atmosphere to it.

The piano is very cool indeed and you have a great bass going on in this one too. Very professional sounding tune to me this one is. The guitar sound is very well suited with its volume level within the track itself. The tribally drums you've got going here are sweet also.

The breakdown could have a bit more of a dramatic edge to it in my opinion, maybe taking a bit more time to break down but thats just personal taste. But it mad add bit more emotion to the track, upto you though.

After the break it does sound a bit weird with the piano loop suddenly ending, maybe introduce the bass and drumbeat with the piano loop continuously moving along. Pretty much what the previous review says as it's hit the nail on the head really.

Awesome track though, loving it, nice and chilled.

nice pads and stuff, aaahh.. niice.. a bassline. nice one too, reminds me kinda of something Sasha made years ago, in about 3:30 the percussions gets a bit dryed out by the other elements, try keeping the percussions a bit more upfront.. lol.. one just gotta love that plane going right>left.. im not a big fan of that piano, i would have actually removed the whole piano, but again , i dont like pianos personally..

i would have kept more focus on that bassline and make some phatter percussions, not that their are bad, but it seems like there is this one loop there that takes over the rest..

otherwise, classy production..

I know what you mean with the percs, they are kind of muddy and I plan to do some equalizing and change some of the samples around. As far as the piano melody, do you suggest a dub mix or change the instrument?

Oh and the Sasha track you're talking about is Sashe & Holden - Bloodlock from ADD, thats where I basically stole the idea for that bass sound from.
