I have here one example to illustrate my problem. I can't figure out the position of the notes (or effects used) to get effect, like bass is coming a little bit later than just sitting on the 1/16 places. Is this somehow related to Delay effect? I have tried quantizer, but thats not it.

Yes, I got pretty close to this as well (of course the synth is not what i'm after): test.mp3

Added -50ms delay with quantizer. Maybe quantizer is still the key to such basslines.
