and then it does the eq'ing automaticly (each element gets its own freq range) and afterwards there is a random function in which it adjusts the shelves so you can click till it has the desired sound...........
i mean, eq'ing is the hardest part in music creation i think, so why not automate it????

maybe because all basses don't sound the same, just like kicks, snares, leads, strings, etc. each bass needs different frequencies attenuated or amplified, so it is not possible to find the one you need. also, different mixing styles differ on what frequencies are changed.
your music sounds best when you choose sounds which need little or no eq whatsoever - an appropriate kick or bassline will not be good no matter the amount of eqing you use.
