Something which some never seem to fully grasp. I myself am an immigrant who came to this country when I was 12 now 25. My mother waited years after my grandmother in America applied since the 1960's before she got a permanent visa. Now if there are those who think its okay that undocumented people are all over the country without any ability to be accounted for after coming here illegally then that is truly worrisome.
From that article it seems that illegal immigrants don't even care about the border guards catching them anymore unless they're Mexican and could easily be returned otherwise they walk free from overcrowded detention centers and know they will most likely not be seen again by immigration officials, even though they are here illegally. If the U.S. was to set up like what Australia did with the detention units on a large scale that kept people until their "asylum case was processed" there would be an uproar about that from the various refugee groups. Some of these people were even setting fire and rioting in the detentions centers when they were denied asylum in Australia.
Illegal immigration is something that feeds on itself, human trafficking, prostitution, exploitation and a sense of hopelessness. I'm not against immigration, for obvious reasons, but sensible and documented immigration is needed or where will it end. A classic case is in Europe, every day Italy has boatloads of illegal immigrants from Northern and Southern Africa showing up off the coast of Sicily, is Italy suppose to be able to accept all of these people. When it comes to illegal immigration there is no need to be P.C. There are reasons why nations have borders.

. Well you should quit watching so much Lou Dobbs and go out to the world(don't be afraid the sun might hurt at first). You will see that the jobs the undocumented immigrants have are really crappy with shitty pay. Americans don't want those jobs because you really cant live on that type of income. Most of those immigrants are working two to three jobs a day for shitty pay. Its not the fault of american Businesses that americans only want jobs that will pay more $. Too make this shorter what i am saying is that most of these undocumented immigrants only come to work so they can have a decent live. Most are not criminals so don't confuse them as the arabs who came through Canada . Which bordors us to the North not the South.
