Ok this will be short like my night at Space. I got there and the music was just horrible at first...Dubfire got on and it was nice for a while...Saw Felipe (Liquid X) and that's about it. So I tried to stay longer but ended up leaving early because I really wasn't feeling it...I didn't see Sharam (I don't even think he was there) I was rather disappointed but next time I go see them I'll make sure it's both. An ok night that I anticipated to be much better...

and with this said I should have just skipped out on Deep Dish and gone to see Zabiela the night before.

well i have always said there is NO reason to go to deep dish unless it is on the terrace because u will most likely be bored...with that said kelly and i woke up at about 4 and made the drive to miami, showing up at space at about 530...it was goin off at that time ali was rippin up the room and behrouz was already upstairs starting the terrace off...some tracks played

deep dish feat stevie nicks-dreams....the dope shit worth the cover just to hear this track...same way on the em, mixing the dub right into the vocal club mix

deep dish-flashing for money...sounding great on the dynacord

paul van dyk-the other side (deep dish remix)...now this was sick he dropped it at about 7:00 inside, place went bonkers...cyro blast and all...insane for sure...after this track the lights in the booth came on to debut the king of house, mr. danny tenaglia, who was sayin a bunch of crazy shit on the mic about happy 4th and we love u miami...

Fleetwood mac-big love (deep dish club mix) this was ali's main room closing track at about7:45 am...very good to hear

up on the terrace it was slamming hard beats but way too hot in the middle of the summer...i was dying and at about 10:45 had to leave...i got the sickest video ever of say hello(angello and ingrosso mix) on the terrace with the cyro going and the place rocking hard as hell at 10 am, ill try to upload to usendit later today...the reason why the saying goes there no place like space!!!!

getting back into it

I had some friends go down from Atlanta and were pissed off about the very false advertising via email from Space of

OPEN BAR FROM 10PM-12 MIDNIGHT

WTF? How can they get away with just not doing it?

I find that pitiful. They wouldnt have gotten there until much later but the open bar got them before midnight...

they have done that before as well...either way an open bar for 2 hours doesent make up for the money u spend on drinking from 12-??...open bar or not, unless its a non-terrace dj, your best bet is to go after 3...

and if it's deep dish go after 5... they rocked the terrace but the small portion of the mainroom set that i saw was pretty dull (sleep dish as some like to say lol) sux if u got there too early (i.e. dr, zack, bobby, etc.) b/c chances are slim u will make it to the terrace... dreams was mesmerizing and the say hello vid is mynt... overall a really fun nite! rach and ryan- wish u guys could have stayed longer!


and i am taking a terrace hiatus until the weather cools off some... waaay too hot to be dancing, sweatng, drinking, and such

I got to Space @ around 1 or so.. mmmm I dont know who was on and what.. but when the MIC guy said Happy 4th and all the blah blah blah, I knew one of the Deep Dish Jocks was starting to play... he started with a very deep tribalish house track.. I liked it. Ive never clubbed to deep house before, so I tried to make it fun.. and I did enjoy it. Not banging at first. I saw Liz and Anthony, PoisonIV.. Andrew among other friends.. Once I got into the podium, the guy threw this very very very VERY sick remix of " The First Rebirth ".. Me and the peeps on podium felt it.. but the crowd were kinda blah to it.. stormer track though. Then like around 5:30 we went to Terrace, hence it got a bit boring for my banging clubbing that I was looking forward to. Pretty different atmosphere... Very proggy and ulplifting music.. great for a terrace set on the sunrise.. I was having a good time and right before I know it my friends decided to call it a night when I knew that after 6 or 7 is when it gets heavy on the terrace.. but hey they were my ride so I fled.. Next time I shall make it down for pure terrace .. Im yet to experience that.. Until next time .. for me PvD and MAx !! w00t !

PS: It was not packed as I expected for a holiday weekend with re-known jocks.. Fun non-theless.

I missed Zabiela for this clown. I definitely deserve to lose some IQ points for this one. That's bad house. Seriously, I'd say that's the kind of set that gives our scene a bad reputation with peoples... loud, repetitive, boring music. Behrouz was worse. Anybody that can't bring it the whole time is 3rd-world class. Seriously, you have to go see them late? That's weak, I don't respect that either. At Morillo, my bach started aching, I looked at my phone, and it was already 1:50 in the afternoon... so that would be 10 hours, and 50 minutes of bringing it and still going stong... that's 1st class. I give Dubfire a 1.5 out of 10 for entertainment value, considering I had a better time listening to Lemoch drop Latin and Hip-Hop. daVe
