Well I'm aware there will be pain, but not sure how bad. I hate tooth pain.

from what i remember when i got one of my teeth pulled, it didn't hurt too much. the extraction itself was mild. i think the main deal is there is going to be the fact that the tissue is so sensitive afterwards that anything touching it will get hurt, wether it's heat/cold, pressure. also when you chew, the teeth around it will cause some pain.
plus, forget about eating nachos for a while on that side of the mouth

i had a tooth pulled when i got my braces on, they pulled it out in one shot, i loved it. felt weird at first, but the drugs made it sooooooo good.

Ah yeh, another question.

I went in for a consultation for my tooth removal about tweo weeks ago. I've got this large bump (it sticks out close to 1cm) on my gum right by the tooth which is being pulled. According to him it is not an abcess, but it sure as hell looks like one. It's really hard when I touch it and hurts slightly. What could it be? I'm guessing the dentist was just wrong?
