I'm transfering a file that is nearly 2 gigs from my old computer to my new, but i don't have an external harddrive or a FTP server that is big enough..
Is there any free services that allows me to send the file and store it on a public server? And of course, i have to be able to download the file, so no 100 MB free download trials....
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Peter

grab one computer, drive it to the other one . . .
or just use AIM and send the file. it will take about 1290847123491234 hours, but it will work

Have someone put the hard drive on a bicycle and send it toward you. It's sure to have many adventures along the way.

I will have to use an internet service, thats why I am asking for one.
1. I don't have a car and I am under 18 so i cant drive whatsoever
2. The PC im transfering to can't be turned off for a second, since it is a radio PC which runs all the time, making it impossible to insert the other harddrive without encountering problems..
3. I have bad time, so 1290847123491234 hours just won't do..
Thanks to those who have helped so far!
Thanks in advance!
-Peter

I think the best way would be to transfer the file over AIM, MSN, or something with a similar function.

Set up your own FTP server at the destination PC?
Sure there must be enough freeware tools for that purpose available..
